Hello All, I have a 93 Chevy K3500 w/6.5 diesel, manual trans.....I have a brake like problem....all tail and turn signal lights WORK, but I have NO brake lights! I replaced the brake pedal switch assuming this was the root of all evil...(You know what assuming means...), anyway, replacing it did not fix the problem, actually it created another....Cruise control will not disengage when brake pedal applied. I guessing this problem is under dash near brake pedal switch. My problem is I don't have a wiring diagram....and don't want to pay $20-30 bucks if I can get one online.....So my question is....Does anyone have any suggestions on my problem or know a website I can get a wiring diagram? Thanx, Greg V.

Use a test light to verify power in and out of the brake light switch. If you have power coming out when the brake is applied, then look at the turn signal switch. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

The brake light switch, in most cases, is adjustable (for the cruise control issue). Also, if not out to lunch, the brake lamp circuit is fused. Loren SW Washington

Thank You, Hammer & Champlain, I've checked both fuse and power in/out of switch. This is what leads me to believe a wiring problem under dash area, Hence trying to locate a wiring diagram for that vehicle specific....I thought the dealer would have been alittle more helpful, but I should have known better, It is of course nearly 20 yrs old.... Thanks again, Greg V.

Don't be a fool. Spend the 20 or 30 Bucks on a manual that will help for the rest of your vehicle ownership. It also adds to the resale value of your vehicle. I should listen to myself! Lol!
