What's a crash light? Do you mean the 3rd (high mount) brake light? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

You most likely have a bad Combination switch in the steering column.

Apparently not. The signal for the 2 lower lights passes through that switch and then directly to the lights so if you have working turn signals the circuit is complete.

You're going to have to verify the brake light signal going into the combo switch (white wire) and coming back out.

You test for power when the brake is applied using a test light or digital voltmeter. If you don't know how to test for power, how are you telling me you tested the combo switch and it's fine? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
