4 cylinder, 242k miles. My running lights and everything else works fine, but my headlights won't turn on and my bright lights only flash when I try to flip them on. If anyone has an idea of what I can do please don't hesitate to give a suggestion, so far I haven't done anything to figure it out. Smile

Like any other electrical problem, it has to be systematically traced through a wiring diagram. Start at the switch and follow the current supply out of the headlamp switch and through the dimmer switch.

JUst in case , are you pulling or pushing your lever. your car should have "flash to pass" if so pulling on the lever only flashes the highbeams pushiing it forward turns them on. If this is the case i would wager that both low beams are burned out.

yeah I looked into that already the bulbs are fine, but in my car the switch doesn't move forward, just back for the brights to turn on and off. But thanks for the input
