95 4runner suddenly wouldn't start after having ran around doing errands all morning, attempted to jump initially with no luck--had battery tested and was good--tried to reach starter to see if giving good tap would help but unable to reach starter (tucked away nice and tight)---towed to shop, replaced starter, drove off lot to get gas and wouldn't start again---called shop and tech said dome light had been left on (maybe someone didn't shut door completely???) and they had to charge battery to get started (never told me this when I picked up) anyway mechanic came to see if jump would help again, took 2 attempts but did start. Drove for over 60minutes before shutting engine off again to ensure battery charged well. Once shut off didn't start again. Had battery tested again and came back as good. Tech saying could be cables although they are clean and show no corrosion etc. It is a single click when attempting to start vehicle. Any direction would be sincerely appreciated.

With "single click" problems you may notice all power shuts off like if you purposely left an interior light on while attempting to start it would go out. Radio/clock may reset. If so that points to battery cable connections - all of them at battery, engine and starter need to be known good. They can look ok and not be, T
