All of the sudden, the alarm in my 96 Park Ave starts going off for no reason. I have never had any problems with this and it is driving me CRAZY! Any suggestions as to what would cause this? HELP! I'm tired of getting up at all hours of the night to turn this off!

Those are a PITA to figure out. Usually it ends up being one of the door ajar switches or the trunk tamper switch. The trick is to catch it when it happens, which usually doesn't happen slow enough to where you can figure out which switch is the problem. Sometimes you can arm the system and bang on the doors to see if you can get one to act up. If you have a high end scan tool that can get into the BCM, you can watch the switches to see if they change state. A DVOM with min/max feature is also handy, but you have to back probe the switch circuits at the BCM and induce the failure. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
