I have a 97 GMC Seirra. The problem started with my left side blinkers not working and windsheild wipers. Changed bulbs didnt touch anything on the wipers. Still left side blinkers do not work and fuse keeps shorting out. Ok so I changed the back and front light casings. New bulbs and components for all. Still no brake lights or left side blinkers. The night lamps work on both sides but nothing happens when you brake. And what ever it is its constant because its draining the battery. So now I have no wipers, no left side blinkers and no brake lights and my truck as of today will not start again because the battery is dead agian. Oh ya the battery is new too. I cant afford to keep buying fuses and testing. I also cant afford a mechanic right now. And I cant get to work. Please some one help.

The wipers, turn signals, hazards...are all controlled by the multifunction switch... I have seen these switches go bad and cause a no signal light concern on one side only as well as a loss of stop lamps. Just a thought....
