98 Isuzu brake light

98 Isuzu Rodeo 4 cyl 2L 166,247 MI.
The brake light on the dash will not go out. The emergency lever is engaging the switch. I have disconnected the switch to no avail. I need some help.

Check the brake fluid level. Low fluid will put that light on also.
