1999 Cavalier- 2.2 engine. I had a skip in the engine and determined the coil pack was out. After replacing the coil pack, it ran for about a second and cut off. Now there is no fire coming from any cylinders on the coil pack. What could I have done to cause this. I have checked all connections and they are fine

Its possible this is a coincidence. Do you have injector pulse?

You could have a defective coil. You could put the old coils back on to see if you can get spark back.
