The windows on my 99 Kia Sportage all stopped working and the AC seemed to stop at the same time. Can anybody tell me what to look for ?

Hmmm... Seems like it could be a blown fuse or relay..... look for your fuse box, either under the console near the drivers side of the car inside.... or under the hood. In this fuse box you will see a listing of fuses and what they control.... look for a/c and windows if they are under the same fuse check they fuse to see if it has blown.... Burnt signs, and not connected.... if so replace it with the correct amp fuse.... Anyone else have a suggestion if it isn't the fuse or relay?

Hmmm.... Something is causing the fuse to blow.... question when you replaced the fuse what worked the windows or ac or both..... and when it blow the second time was the ac on then you lowered a window? Or it just popped with time

sounds like you have a short!! Check where the wires between the door and frame by the hinges some times they get pinched also check the wires leading into the fuse I've had them get broken & freyed and start shorting things out!! R.G. south central Minnesota
