I am back again with maybe another problem . I found out I have a prestolite distributer in staed of a holley . This is a 79 345 in a truck . Well I found out the prestolite takes a different cap , plugs and rotor than a holley dist. Do I need to change them or are they okay . The prestolite takes a cap with male terminals and the holley has female terminals

That just depends which wires you're using. If you have the matching wires and the base of the cap and the contacts inside are the same, it shouldn't matter but make sure these things are the same. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
