We have a 2005 Kia Soronto w/ 60K miles on it. We bought the car used in May of 2010. In September, we replaced the battery. High end, good battery, not a cheap one. this morning, car will not turn over. Tried to juimp it, no go. Acted like it wanted to take a charge but would be a slow process. What should I try next? thank you for your help! Kelley

The fact that the battery is not old doesn't change how you approach the problem. You start by charging the battery and then having it tested. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Jumpers don't always get a good connection and there are several grades of quality for them. I'd check cables, that they are clean and snug. Charge battery with a charger as if real low it's hard on the alternator to charge a near dead battery, T

Thank you! I will get a charger! I used to be pretty god at this, but these cars with computers, etc, leave me a little lost.
