I then noticed that my brake lights do not go off and so I proceeded to replace the brake switch. No matter how I adjust the brake switch, the brake lights stay on unless I completely unplug the switch. Any advice or help will be greatly appreciated. There is a plastic button that the switch lands against and they deteriorate and fall off. You probably found it on the driver's side floor.
