1997 Plymouth Grand Voyager Van 90K miles 3.3 Liter V6 Engine started normally. Odometer did not light up. Gear indicator (P R N D Etc) did not light up. Tachometer stayed at zero with engine running and at all speeds. Put it in gear and drove away. Speedometer stayed on zero at all speeds. Came back, parked, and switched vehicles. Five hours later started the Van again. All worked normally. Checked fuse box. All fuses pushed in. Where do I start looking? Thanks for your time. Otto

You should have all the modules in the vehicle scanned for codes and communications. Bus problems can cause the cluster to go inop as can power supply problems and cracked circuit boards in the cluster itself. It needs to be diagnosed by a shop that has the capability to interface the modules in the vehicle and can use a scope to monitor bus voltages when the problem is occurring. The BCM controls the functions of the cluster which can be a major nightmare to figure out. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
