PROBLEM:
Since yesterday, sometimes my car will start & sometimes it won't. Sometimes I have no power at all (ie: nothing happens when I try to turn it over, wipers won't work, clock is off), sometimes I have some power (ie: I get a clicking noise, wipers work, clock is on) & sometimes I have full power (starts right up). My fix: if I take the negative off the battery for about 30 seconds & put it back on, she starts right up.

SIMILAR PROBLEM HAPPENED ONCE A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO:
Approx 2 weeks ago my car wouldn't start & fiddled with the battery connectors (they looked pretty gunked up) and she started right up. I had since cleaned the terminals and the battery looks fine (battery was purchased Feb 08).

ANOTHER RELATED ISSUE THAT STARTED YESTERDAY:
When playing music, approx every 2-3 min my stereo will cut out killing all sound coming out of my speakers. It doesn't turn off, just a hiccup in the sound. Does the same for cds and radio. I do have an amp running subs, but it cuts out all the speakers, not just the amped subs.

BATTERY, BATTERY WIRING, ALTERNATOR?:
I was hoping someone could give me some insight as to the possible culprit before I take her to the shop & find out it was just a bad battery or something simple I could have fixed myself.

Thanks in advance!!

You have had luck with cleaning and fiddling with the battery connections. Take a harder look - the cables may be no good at the ends and check the other ends of the cables as well,
