Hi I have a question regarding system charging issues. I replaced the alternator, battery, belt, pulley. Battery is still not charging. The alternator is tested good. The battery is tested good. Checked all the grounds, fuses, fusable links don't see any broken wires. I'm totally stumped. It's a 2004 Ford Exploder 4.0L V6 It's driving me nuts. Today I happened to look down at the starter and noticed the wires seem a little corroded. The truck starts fine but again the battery doesn't charge and it will slowly drain overnight. Question is would the starter have anything to do with that? Thanks

With the engine running, test the charging voltage at the back of the alternator.
