Chevy Pickup....turn signal Vs Brake lights Sign In

94 chevy c1500
5.7l v8
137000

Ok guys here's my problem. When I turn on my turn signals they work fine, but when I push in my brakes all the way down, the turn signals go crazy and on my dash the blink rapidly. When I let go of the brake the go back to normal and the rapid blinking stops. The biggest problem is that sometimes everything just shuts off, and I have no lights. what could be wrong?/

Does this happen on both sides?

Have someone look and see which lights are out when this happens.

Just thoughts: Is this truck wired for a trailer? If so check that first then sockets for rear bulbs which should use the same filament in the same bulbs (I think brake and turn are bright and running lights in same bulb which is common) and may be causing an issue - corroded sockets or any chance of wrong bulbs?

If both sides my guess is trailer wiring issue is set up for that,
