Hey, guys. '04 Ram 1500, 5.7, 50K. The cruise will not turn on when the ambient temp is below 65F. Cab temp makes no difference. The cruise is PCM controlled (no servo). No DTCs, no TSBs. Once I've driven a few miles, shut down for a few minutes, the underhood temp (seems to be the fix) increases, then works fine the remainder of the day. I once had to drive about 30 miles on a cold and rainy day (it's always cold and rainy, here). The cruise would not come on. I got to the destination, went inside for about ten minutes, came back out, and the cruise worked, just fine. Cycling the ignition makes no difference, either. Via symptoms, pretty much eliminates VSS, TPS. Any Dodge guys out there that have run into this? Loren SW Washington

hold up on brake pedal with your foot brake while driving see if it sets worth a try brake switch is a 2 part switch also do u have a light on your dash when it's on the switches or done by resistance some times by hitting 2 of them you can get it to come on
