Dodge Neon SXT 2.0L Sign In
Ok here it is, have a dodge neon 2005, this morning it would not start. the starter plunger would come out you could here it but the starter would not turn. Found the battery terminal croded really bad so replaced figuring that was why, still nothing. Had the battery tested it was good but they refunded it and bought new anyways. Still would not start. Pulled starter had check, checked good. Went ahead and bought one to test with did same thing plunger came out but would not turn starter. Now started to check electrical went over grounds and cleaned all, ohm out good. Checked over positive to starter everytime turn ignition the plunger comes out the starter volts drops to 0vdc or less then 8vdc? The positive cable ohms good but there is a second wire terminated with it unsure what this is. Any help would be appreciated thanks.Unsure

You need to do a voltage drop test on the battery cable(s).
