I'm new to the site and in desperate need of some help!! I have a 2001 Firebird. I turned on the left turn signal, and instantly, my ABS INOP and TCS OFF lights came on. All the lights in the front of my car came on (although some were dim). Blew my cig fuse twice, wipers are extremely slow, and lights dont want to go up and down on their own. I noticed today, under the hood there is a little fuse box. I removed two fuses because there was a knocking sound from the lights not working. There is another little fuse box next to it (for cruise, starter, etc). Well, mounted on the side of it is a flat square which has 2 plugs on it. One of the fuses I had to take out was because that flat box was making a clicking sound. Would ALL of this be from a short? Or could it be that this flat box is my problem?? I'm dumbfounded here and have no clue where to start. Any help would be more than appreciated!! Smile

I would start by having the charging system checked that it’s functioning properly and that the battery has a full charge.
All of the things you mentioned are either monitored or controlled by the BCM (body control module) and it relies on the system to have a fully charged battery. In other words this computer gets real dumb once the battery drops below a certain level of charge and will start doing all kinds of strange things.
