I am currently working on a 96 gmc serria 1500. The fuse box in the cab where the 10a fuse for the heat and air control plugs in there seems to be no connection and fuse falls out. Is there a way to correct this issue

The textbook answer to your question is to replace the fuse box but that can be a major pain. The unapproved shortcut would be to run an inline fuse outside of the fuse box. If you haven't tried already, take a pick and try to spread the contacts in the socket and see if that helps to tighten the fuse contacts. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
