Hazard signs that won't go off Sign In

Hello...please I need assistance. I drive an Audi A4 2005model I misplaced the only keys I had to car. I tried fabricating a new key and ended up damaging my ecu(brainbox) in the process. Now I've gotten a new ecu and a new key that I have programmed for them to work. But the problem is when I start the car the hazard blinkers come on and won't turn off and also the turbo got damaged again.. I'm not sure if it is the ecu that affected the turbo and what can I do about the hazard sign?....please any help

The first thing you should do is change your user name before all the spammers grab your e-mail and sell it.

Have you tried locking and unlocking the doors with the clicker.

How was the ECU programmed? Was it programmed using dealer equipment?

I don't understand what u mean by clicker but if u are referring to the caution sign in the dashboard..I've tried using it and it's not going off.. And new key was not configured with the door lock except the ignition and the ecu.....the hazard sign only comes on when I start the engine...when I switch it off it goes.....and the programmer that helped is like 600miles away from me and he is telling that this has nothing to do with the ecu

I'm referring to the keyless entry remote.

I'm suspecting your car has a contents security system that is armed and the remote will usually shut that off.

No not at all because I bought the car as a second hand from u.s and the initial key never came with a remote...,it was a single key

Just because you never received a remote doesn't mean the car was never equipped with a security system.

Are there any single LED indicators anywhere?

There is a small red bulb when the car was locked before the key was missing.... I forced it open manually from the window

Yep, and now you have triggered the alarm system. You can try locking all the doors and locking and unlocking the drivers door with the key but you may need a remote.

Thanks... If I may ask can the ecu damage the turbocharger... Or do u think its a mere coincidence the turbo got damaged after I started the car

The ECU controls all you fuel and timing and a poor running engine can damage a Catalytic Converter but i don't see the connection to a Turbo unless it has any electronic functions controlled by the ECU.
