I have a 1995 Pontiac Grand Am. Last night my dimmer switch burnt out and now I have no headlights unless I hold the switch and then I have only bright lights as long as I hold the switch. I need to know if there is a way to run a jumper wire in my fuse box to run the headlights all the time. Like day running lights. My old neon had one in it and I'm not sure what to do. I just need a temporary fix until I can find another switch. Can anyone help me?

Thanks for the link. I checked it out but it didn't really help any because the switch it showed and talked about is completely different from mine. The one I have is the lever type on the steering column. It's looking like I'll just have to stay home after dark until I can change the switch. Thanks for the help though. Wink

I just wanted to say thank you for helping me with my problem. I ended up finding another switch at a junk yard and just changed it out and now everything works fine.
