Hyundai Power Window Sign In

2002 Hyundai Sonata 4cyl
Replaced the driver side power window assembly. Window function properly (up and down). Problem is that when rolling down window the motor keeps running when window bottoms out. No problem when rolling up. Is there a way to adjust so that motor stops when window reaches bottom?

What happens when it hits bottom? Does it make any kind of noises?

Yes, when window bottoms out the motor keeps running and making clicking noises as the gears skip.

That's the problem. Something is stripped out in either the motor or the regulator. It is designed to shut off when the motor meets resistance which increases the current draw and the module sees that. Now that it's stripped, the motor never sees resistance.
