It's basically the size of a UPS delivery truck and I'm not used to driving something this big so I wanted to add some side view cameras with screens to eliminate my bind spots. I was wondering if it was possible to wire it up in a way that the camera's and screens only turn on when I put my blinker on? I figure I can find a camera and screen combo that will start displaying data the moment they receive power so my real question IS what should I be looking to tap power from? Is there a wire that gets hot when I throw on my blinker? Obviously the blinker bulb wires receive power but I'm assuming they are an oscillating current that makes the bulb blink.(I'm just guessing at this, I dont actually know whats up) Is there a continues source that gets activated when the blinker arm is engaged that I can tap into? TMK once they alone worked on all their own custom ordered vehicles unsure if ever sold to the public if one croaked for assorted reasons. How about just search for stick on things that work remotely on their own battery with an ON/OFF switch to save a disposable battery? It's still a 1997 model so subject to certain mandatory items to be sold depending on just where to it would be used. Nobody wants blind spots but there just will be no matter what you do get used to driving types of things as intended or IMO you have the wrong vehicle to you or your ability to drive it.
