Lighter plug issues

Specs: '04 Grand Prix, 3.8L V6 I have 2 lighter plugs, neither puts out power, nor have they since I've owned the car(used). I'm baffled because I cannot find a fuse for them in either fuse panel, unless its named something odd. Anyone know what the fuse is(or where it is) on an '04 grand prix? Cant find any info on it, manual is useless. I'm assuming because neither one works, it's a fuse. If not, what else could it be besides the wires/housing?

I somehow doubt there are two "lighters" in this car but rather named "power ports" so see if an acronym fits for that. Same basic things except power ports work better than lighter sockets for devices. Some are located such that it's easy to get a coin in them and that will blow a fuse. Get one of these circuit testers for 12v DC. You can go thru all the fuses and the handle should light on BOTH sides of each fuse if active (empowered) as usually ports stay on even with car off + keys out. That way you can test fuses without even removing them. That light is only about $5 bucks and handy for this stuff. WallyWorld has one that's LED which is even better - same price but better with LED than incandescent bulb for many things. The dead center of the port should show power. With clip hooked to known power the walls of the ports should show ground. It's possible a common ground wire for them is broken or fell off somehow, T

This is the legend for the underhood fuse box. I'm guessing that it may be fuse #10, but with Tom's suggestion you should be able to tell, for sure. See attachment. Loren SW Washington
