Low beams not working, high beams working

2010 hyundai accent gls 115k. I installed ddm tuning HID lights on the vehicle. They have been working great and they LIGHT UP THE NIGHT! Much more light than any leds Ive seen. Anyway, I dont think they are the issue. Both low beams are not coming on. So, my multifunction lever/switch that controls the turn signals, lights is the problem is what I'm thinking. Reason I say this is because when the lights first went out, if I fiddled with the lever, I could get the low beams (both) to come on, but not stay on. I can still do this. If i push the lever out , the high beams stay on like they should. If I rotate the knob at the end, I can get the parking lights to come on, but the low beams wont come on like they should. IDK if a contact in the lever is worn or how they work. I have not checked any fuses or relays, etc. yet. It is too cold right now. i am in NY. Should I just replace the multifunction lever? Thanks

This stuff can be a nightmare. May have burned up the switch or a problem right at one of the bulbs! Yes, some if connection stinks other side won't work. Some also require a kit that adjusts wattage + voltage sent? Should have said so where you got them? T

We don't recommend changing anything without doing some testing. The way these are wired is they get power all the time to the lights and the switch and dimmer provide the ground. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Check at the plug to them for ground and power - a simple test light with long wire should do. Been around with the dang things - they don't just "plug and play" for all applications. try one without the car just the battery and alligator wires if need be see some don't match I would think wouldn't have worked ever if so or seriously put a strain on wire which will wrinkle if you see it but most is well hidden, T

Thanks for the replies. i got them at ddm tuning. I also have some leds and the original bulbs that I can plug into the socket to rule out the hid's as being the problem. It's just too cold to mess with right now so Ive been keeping my high beams on. I'll get them fixed as soon as i can

Understand the cold I'm in Metro Boston LIKE to work outside. IDK, try - put old bulbs back in? If they work changes the approach, T
