Mitsubishi Lancer 1998 Instrument problem Sign In

Hi,

I am having an issue with the odometer, tachometer and speedometer. When I leave the car under the sun and I start the car, the don't work. Sometimes is cold and they work, but once the car elevate the temperature, they turn off travelling. The fuel and temperature meters work perfectly in any case. They are not the fuses.

Any idea on what could be causing this and a possible solution?

Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately the Lancer wasn't introduced into the states until 2001, so we don't have any service information. You know the fuses are good that power the cluster, but did you check them with a volt meter to see if there was power at the fuses? You may have to pull the cluster and make some electrical checks when it isn't working to isolate the culprit.
