2000 Buick Lesabre, high beams will not stay on unless you hold the switch lever back. Is there a way to bypass the switch and install a toggle switch to use the high and low beams. I am trying to avoid the expense of the $300.00 part and labor for installation. Just bought the car and didn't check the headlights!!!!!. Thanks

How do you even know that switch is the problem? There is a Dash Integration module in this circuit too ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

When I pull the switch to the rear as per owners manual the bright lights will not remain on like they should, It seemed like the switch to me and my online search indicated that was the problem. That's why I stated it was the switch,I don't know for sure.Help me out with some tips please. Thanks

Unless you know how to read a test an electrical circuit, and this is not an easy one, you are going to need a shop to do the testing for you. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
