Howdy everyone. I've got a 98 GMC Sierra 5.7L extended cab pick-up and I'm having some eletrical issues. First, the brake light on the back part of the cab was torn off due to it being driven under a cable. I noticed that my truck no longer screams at me when I leave the keys in the ignition. Bad fuse maybe? Second, I ran out of gas tonight, and as soon as I started it up again, I realize that my hazards, turn signals, and brake lights are all doing a whole lot of jack-squat. Radio, dome lights, head lights, brights, rear running lights all work great. So, I'm wondering if the ripping-off of my rear light and the running out of gas might have caused a switch or board to go bad? Or if this is just a fuse or a few fuses I can replace. Any input or insight would be most helpful! Thanks! Jimmy

Hi Jim. I would start with testing all of the fuses with a test light. If they all check out and still problems, post back and we'll take it further. Steve
