Please help

2000 mercury grand marquis I ordered a pair of switchback light strips for my car a while ago ,one for drivers, one for passenger side to be mountain under headlight, and each one has 3 wires, one for ground, one to hook up to a daytime running wire, and the other to hook up to a turn signal wire, when I hooked them up and turn my daytime lights on, they are white running lights and when you press turn signal, they turn amber, the problem,, when I turn on my daytime lights on, they work, but when I put the blinker on, my signal will blink fast as if its a bad bulb, it does this randomly whether I am stopped, or driving , and also when I put my signal on, the orange leds only stay on, they do not blink. and also the wire that hooks up to the turn signal wire that bulb also stays on when I signal, they do not blink, my question is, how would I wire these in so that they don't affect my blinker, would I need a load resistor? , if so, how would I hook that up, and why do the led strips and the turn signal bulb not blink? how do I fix that? and also is it possible to turn these led strips on and off with a switch and still have the option when I put the turn signal on, they would still go orange and blink? please help with a diagram or something, I know its confusing, but I tried my best to explain over a computer :) this is the only diagram supplied, and as far as why my led lights and turn signal bulb don't blink when the turn signal is on, maybe i just have my positive and negative wires mixed up, who knows. but definitely need to know how to hook up a load resistor, and a switch to turn these on and off if that's possible. any help is appreciated, please and thanks!

You are the victim of cheap chinese parts that someone on e-bay claims will work with your car. Your flasher does its flashing based on amperage flowing through it. These lights create more amperage, which forces the flasher to make them flash more. While the idea of these lights working right probably would be a cool effect for the car, the car was not made to take them. That is why you are getting poor function out of them.

Ditto: Take all that junk off this car which needed none of this from the get go. Fix any wiring you messed with to install this stuff back to OE, well soldered and shrink wrapped as needed and hope nothing else is messed up for having done this, T

ALL I needed to see was LED... without wasting alot of time - there is an issue when LED;s are used - they conflict with vehicle lighting modules. keep it stock use OEM.

fyi, I don't care for putting leds on a car like this or any car for that matter, its stupid and usually would give a cheap look to a 450hp merc, but they have been on since last year, It looks ALOT better then you think with the way I did them,, yes they are cheap Chinese parts, but they work and gives the merc a complete different look, wish I had a picture of em but I don't. unfortunately im good with mechanical parts and building with wood, but electricity is my weakness, but ill figure it out! ill unwire the turning light wire and just have white leds and no orange turning signal leds if I really have to. I asked for help, not opinions, thanks for nothin doods!
