I have a 98 venture, and I switched out the starter but it has a black wire which I think is hot, an orange accessories wire, and a red wire. As well as the purple relay wire. I can't seem to hook it up properly what's the order and location? Thanks in advance! Please don't do that, it was long done and someone else's issue. I'll wait for another to reply also but purple should be the trigger wire to make starter engage and the largest gauge that might be new and come only in black the main wire to the battery positive post/terminal. Follow the wire! Pay attention another time as this can't all be messed up like this. All the other wires go to the large main terminal.
