It's either when I hit a bump or when I'm driving for to long but my speedometer and rpm gauge stop working. I'm not having any trouble shifting and my cruise will still work. When I shut the car off and let it sit for awhile it works again! I thought it might be the speed sensor but why would that effect the RPM gauge? I'm at a loss to figure this out. Any ideas would be helpful! Battery and alternator both been checked and are good!

Might be a connection issue with the cluster I would remove cluster make sure the connector is tight .. wiggle it see if it acts up.. it might also be an issue with the cluster it self.

That would be the first thing I would try.

It won't be a speed sensor if your shifting is fine and tach is also affected.

Pretty sure without seeing it that its going to be either the cluster itself or if you're lucky the connectione leading to it,remove the cluster and unplug it and spray a very small amount of WD40 on the female side of the connectors then wipe off any excess and reinstall,Its worked for me before, but when i say a small amount i mean a small amount..like a drop in every connector.good luck

Re: Speedometer and RPM gauge Sign In

Going to give this a try, today the whole dash died including the gas gauge and the heat gauge. It's also not coming back on after letting it sit anymore. So I'm hoping this will take care of my issue. If it's not the connection what am I looking at to fix the whole cluster? Thanks for your help!

More then likely it might be cluster issue if that does not fix it try tapping the cluster with it out and hooked up to see if you can get it to act up at all.
