Totally Dead Sign In

My daughters 1996 Ford Contour just got a new altinator and a new battery because car kept dying. After two weeks the car is now totally dead ( no lights, no horn, no nothing, etc.) in the driveway. The car is also locked in park. Battery has pelnty of juice. Any ideas?

Check the main fuses in the under hood fuse relay center. How do you know that the Battery has lots of juice?
Have you tried boosting the car?
Dan.

Yes, we tried jumper cables and still totaly dead. I know the battery has a lot of juice because you can hook a jumber cable to one post and tap the other - you get big sparks.

Even though the battery is new it could still have a bad connection. It sparks when you tap on it?? T
