I have a 1995 Mazda B2300. When I put my key in the accessory position, all of my electronics work fine, but when I go to turn it over, it clicks and everything dies. It won't even click again when I try to turn it over. I replaced the battery 3 months ago and replaced the battery terminals 2 months ago. That seemed to fix the issue for a bit, but I'm having the same issue again. When I go to wiggle the battery cable near the terminal, all of the electronics work again, but once again, it will click and die when I try to turn it over. I am able to bump start the truck and it runs just fine after that. Could I possibly have a bad battery cable or could it be something more simple than that?

Sounds like a bad connection at the battery. Remove the cables and dip the ends into a cup of hot water. Clean the posts and reinstall securely. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

? What did you replace the terminal with? This, like others was subject to severe corrosion that crept down wire, hopeless wire + insulation used the initial fix probably just didn't work. Takes acids followed by baking soda and or look for whole cables out there somewhere. FYI: Prevention of this is use of routine care with cleaning, protective stuff of assorted names and watching these. It's old buy Zinc item are "sacrificial" quit transferring current properly = nothing works right. No power, no play, Tom
