Want to replace my coil pack on VW Scirocco 2.0 TSI but can only get hold of Ambersil, noticed it has a high dielectric strength. Does anyone know if would be ok to use on the coils?

"Dialectic" grease should be thick or thinner Silicone helps heat transfer for certain thing plus keeps water/moisture out. Ambersil (never heard of that) upon look up is an adhesive so NO! Use even nick named or named bulb grease, silicone grease that is harmless to rubber used a lot for light bulb sockets or other plus brake parts. May have to get something close but doubt this was meant to be a glue? T
