Something happened one day when I tried to take my stereo out. It may be totally coincidental, and nothing to do with the stereo at all, but it did seem like it happened around that time. Anyway, ever since, the stereo flashes on and off and won't work. I took the stereo out completely, but there is something wrong with the electrics now. The hazards, horn, interior light and lights for the digital clock no longer work. However, the indicators, speedo, wipers and most of the important stuff still works fine. I also had a problem with the alternator around the same time, which could also be unrelated, but I don't know. The battery wasn't charging. I changed it today. The battery now charges, but the other things still don't work. I've also noticed that the clock/date resets itself to 00:00 01/01/92 every time I turn the ignition off. It also resets if I try to turn the interior light on, or even when I open the doors (which would cause the interior light to go on too). Any ideas guys?

We don't have that vehicle here in the states, but you might want to check for blown fuses. You could also remove the radio to make sure you didn't pinch any wiring or leave something disconnected. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
