2007 Ford Explorer Sport Trac. The license plate lights are out, the instrument panel light from about 100 down to the temp guage, and the light on the right side of the cruise control buttons. According to the fuse schedule, none of these are related.

Did you check for power and ground in the tag light sockets? Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

I will do that tomorrow if I can find my meters. Long story, 6 months ago I had a lot of tools. I'm ASE certified master engine machinist, not the best with chassis/electrical. Thanks guys

OK, turns out the tag light was just a bulb. I guess it feeds to the right side socket and then to the left, one circuit, the right bulb was burned out. Still sorta clueless on the others but this makes it a little easier

You probably have a case of burnt out bulbs. Your going to have to take the instrument cluster out of the dash and check the bulb for the temperature gauge. As for the cruise control switch, you can pop/pry that out of the steering wheel. Don't let the connector fall down into the steering wheel. I don't know if the bulbs are serviceable on those. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
