What is this socket?

Howdy, I have a 1994 Plymouth Acclaim. I was digging around under the dash today and I found this socket which isn't hooked up to anything. I don't know if I unplugged it accidentally while messing around in there, but can't figure out where it goes, as in, I can't see nor feel any mate for this socket. I don't know of anything that is not working. The wires to the socket are bundled with the same wires that go to the fuse box. The number "93785" is imprinted on the socket. Does anyone know what this socket is for and where it plugs into? Ahem. Well, I was hoping to stick a picture in here of the socket so I uploaded it, but the preview function doesn't show it. So, assuming the picture doesn't show up, the socket is roughly squarish in shape, and has male spades (is that what you call them) in a 2 x 3 array. Thanks Dan Edit: OK I see the picture is here, you just have to click the icon.

That’s a diagnostic connector for the transmission; it’s where you would plug in a scan tool. Dan. Canadian "EH"
