94 Toyota Camry. Passenger window hasnt worked since i bought the car. doesnt work from its own switch or the master switch on driver side. I bought a used motor/regulator from wrecking yard. Well i went to test the motor before i pull old one out and used one in. I wanted to be sure mine was bad or wasnt so once i got door panel off i check it and hear noise coming from motor when i try rolling window up, which it is already up but still it sounds like old motor is working, but when i try to puch down i get nothing. So i unplugged the motor currently in my car and plug in one from wrecking yard to see if it goes up and down and it too only goes up not down. I get motor noise from the passenger door switch in up direction but not down. If i try master switch i get no noise up or down from driver side. Is my problem a switch or what and if it is, is it the master switch or the passenger or both. Thanks Updated: I have pulled back passenger switch and swapped with front passenger switch and still only noise coming from motor in up position. This leaves me to believe that the problem is either in the master control switch on the driver door or the wiring harness. I think it is the master control, but i could be wrong. All other windows work from the master control. Is it possible for one to stop working? The front switch works when i move it to the back door switch so i dont think its the switch on passenger side.
