replaced the alternator 5-6 days later battery light came on and the fan slowed down I punched the dash and it went out and the fan sped back up 5 min later same thing 1999 mercury grand marquis just want to know does that mean it is more likely an electrical problem or just a loose wire

I guess you need to use a bigger hammer.......................
