With my headlights on, my driver's side brake light goes out when the brake is applied. I checked the bulb and it is intact. The brake light does work when the headlights are off. Any ideas what is causing this and where do I go to have it repaired?

It’s likely a bad ground either in the socket itself or the ground wire leading to the socket.

Along the ground theory, if the element inside bulb is broken and touching each other, this can happen.
