bypass radio fuse

Hi! First time post for me here. Is there a gadget to plug into the fuse panel such that I can remove the 15 amp radio fuse and plug in it's place with 2 wires attached? I would add a 15 amp fuse externally in series with a diode or low resistance. My car radio plays OK with engine off but when running it plays some days and not other days. Voltage is correct. 14.4 when running. I'd like to try to reduce the running voltage to radio by a volt or two to see if it's an overvoltage ckt in the radio. Thanks -- Richard

Actually, 13.6 to 14.6V is perfectly normal. Sounds like a radio problem. Loren SW Washington

Thanks Loren for the reply. Yes I knew I had a radio problem. I ordered and received a DIN tool to remove the radio. A new radio would be too expensive. A do it yourself repair would be difficult but a cheat might work. I'm thinking of subtracting a volt or 2 using diodes. Looking for a fuse break out adapter I found at: http://www.brakefluidtester.com/...Brochureforemail.pdf about 40 down the document a picture of: PART No. ALB30720 (MAXI-FUSE) CAR FUSE ADAPTER Circuit amperage testing made easy • Unit adapts any DMM to plug into fuse socket for measuring circuit amperage draw • The circuit remains protected by the existing fuse - no overloading • Convenient way to connect your automotive current tester or hand held scope • Maximum measuring voltage 48v • Cable length approx 75cm Also available: ALB30768 (MINI FUSE) CAR FUSE ADAPTER It's the Mini that I need but the company, Alba is in England and doesn't ship to USA. Ebay has expired bids only. Does anyone know of a similar product available in USA? This adapter would let me see what is needed to keep radio operationg at normal (engine running) voltage. Hopefully I could then install components inside or at the radio plug. Thanks
