To whom it may concern, Rudimentary mechanic skills here. Stepdaughter has a 1962 catalina without functioning taillights. 1 bulb, 3 functions. Brakelights and blinkers are fine. As are headlights. What do I do?

Ok: What's missing is called "running lights" which should include a light for the liscense tag. Light bulbs could either have two filiment in them for brake and directionals (most common then) or separate bulbs for the running lights. You can just look at how many contacts the bulbs have at the base. There were no side marker bulbs in 1962. Do other running lights still work like for the front? This could be just one wire broken somewhere between headlight switch and the back of the car and probably fairly easy to find or just run a new wire, T
