has anyone ever heard of a computer not give a code unless the light is constant? my girlfriend brought her 95 cougar ( 3.8 ) 9n too have the codes read because the other day she was driving and her engine light came on when the car was about to die and then it went off. the man said the computers on her car would only give a code if the light stayed on it wouldn't give a code if it went on, then 2 min later it was off. correct me if im wrong but no matter what if the light comes on then theirs a code right

Re: computer Sign In

There are very few code that don't remain in memory and they are usually overcharging issues.
