I have a 1998 Dodge Caravan the dash lights. radio, and horn do not work. We have replaced the dimmer switch, head light switch and put in new fuses and they still do not work. Anyone have any suggestions what else it may be

Have you looked into checking to see if this caravan has a relay switch? It may be another possible source of the trouble.

Thank you for your reply. I think my husband did but I will ask him. Someone said it also may be a bad ground. Anyone with any other ideas are greatly appreciated.

Just to show you the complexity of the wiring in this vehicle here’s diagram 2 of 3 diagrams for power distribution. From this you can see the maze of wiring between the relays, fuses, control modules let a long the device(s) that are not functioning. Take the van in and have someone that is familiar with the system check it for you. Start probing around and touching things that you shouldn’t; you may let the smoke out of a module (not a good thing) and the issue you have with your radio will seem like a small thing. I know it sounds like a dash light, radio problem should be a simple one and it very well may be; if you know where and how to look. Dan.
