Unsure1999 Dodge Dakota. Turn signal blinks fast only when the head lights are on. Right side only. Same turn signal lights up when you hit the horn. You can feel and hear the signal through the horn. All the bulbs are good. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance!!

First thing if they work but just fast I would and would anyway check all engine to body grounds. Many bare eyelets to metal of body and also engine to frame.

Lube those when known clean and good or weird stuff happens when certain ones fail. No waste in doing that even if not the immediate reason,

I found that the previous owner put an alarm/auto start system on the truck. I disconnected the system but its still doing he same thing. I also disconnected the trailer wiring.

Damn! OK - let's see what we can find. Horn may be involved with alarm and aftermarket doesn't help. So many aftermarket stuff is just cut wire and hack in crap age doesn't do well with that. Would be nice to know who or where installed this junk to take it out and put wiring back soldered and shrink wrapped back to OE.
Trailer wiring? Did this come with a plug waiting for an adaptor or was that another "scotchlock" hack job? That's a common spot for troubles as back there catches so much dirt or whatever from the road but doesn't explain the horn involved to me.

Fast or slow directionals can happen when load is changed be it blown bulbs, socket issues, adding trailer lighting.

Can't look back at what you may have said about the bulbs. I would check again they are correct bulbs, work and sockets look good just because. I'd also put right side bulbs in left side and see if the problem follows while you check each out anyway and do use bulb grease or also called dialectic grease is great for preventing corrosion and issues with wet conditions.

If this turns into a wire chase where things were cut and tapped with the aftermarket junk it could be hard to find problem spot.

So far just hope it's clear and you can see where things were done OR know who installed this stuff with all info on how and what wires were used????

Hate those aftermarket things,

Definitely a hack aftermarket job. what I didn't mention before was the marker light on that side only blinks with the turn signal. I checked all the bulbs and sockets, an all looked good. Signal works fine until I turn the head lights on. the horn sounds like something out of a Yugo Mad

Horn sounds like a YUGO! OMG, crack me up!

So - the work is on to undo the hackery IMO and now think you have a couple issues at once and might involve trailer wiring almost for sure now if side marker lights with just directional that smacks of tapping that and connection touching or bare wire touching on that side which I think would try to power all side market thru that bulb and can't but draws way too much for just directionals/blinkers.

Still check out things mentioned. I'll just ask if the trailer was plain and standard (there is one) flat four wire connector to plain and ordinary trailer light use mostly.

I can see some Goober poking wires to see which were "HOT" and probably with a pocket knife and just electrical tape get a trailer to do some lighting?

Sorry this is upon you. I can just smell/hear the aggravation of undoing this so you at least have a baseline of where what should be to go from.

Just maybe the hack was so lazy nothing was cut up too deep into anything and you can see it's not OE to put back,
