ford 500 battery light on

2006 Ford 500 car rev up and then the battery light came on and check charging system. Had battery and alt check said both were good. What else could it be

Was the alternator tested in the car or out?

They put a volt meter and said it was working

It's still likely a bad alternator causing the light to stay on but the wiring would have to be looked at also.

When I first start it the light is not on but within a min it comes on.

Crystal ball says this is an original battery (2006) way late to replace by time alone. Bet if you looked at volts with everything on you can find electrical that they would drop out as alternator can't keep up and or battery is on its last legs stressing out the show? Gotta check all of it,

The light is controlled by the voltage regulator which is internal to the alternator. You can have a problem with the light alone and the system still charge.
