I have a 1993 ford explorer eddie baurer 4 wheel drive.I went to walmart came out to start and had nothing but clicking when I turned the key.We bypassed the silenoid and got it started using a screwdriver on the starter.I drove it home we took the starter of to get tested it was fine. Then the battery its fine, silenoids next one on fire wall and one on starter both fine. Now there is not even clicking I have power going to the starter and power to the silenoid on the firewall but no power to the rest of the car no lights, power windows nothing and no power to the fuses under the dashboard. We just cant figure it out could someone please help us.

Sounds like you fried a fusible link wire.
Fusible link wires act just like fuses and they will fry to protect a circuit .
They are usually attached at the solenoid at the fender/firewall.
Not sure on this model if they have a solenoid as well on the starter but if they do,they can be connected there.

Maybe you left one off when removing the starter or fried one if something wasnt done correctly.( negative battery cable needs to be removed first before any starter removal)

This probably wouldnt be the original cause of the no start because you had "clicking" at first, correct?

Note: The fusible link wires can appear to be ok sometimes but fried inside the insulation...you can feel then to see if they feel broken inside..most times you can see then fried.

Just a thought..check and left us know

Jim
