grounded alternator B+

1992 toyota camry 2.2 failed to disconnect battery before removal of alternator. blew inline fuse and coil what else might i expect

If you are lucky just the fuse blew and with a new one back in biz. Take a look at wire and see if insulation looks ok too - repair or replace as needed. I could (maybe) have caused a problem internally with a diode but can't tell without fixing the fuse/wire first and see if it works. If there's a harsh reaction putting the wire back on or instant fuse blowing there's more to do, T
