installing remote starter Sign In

I removed my omega remote starter from my 2006 impala before selling car. Will it work in the 2010 envoy I now have?

You would have to ask Omega that one. They know what their product is compatible with. I might think twice about using it though. While they are convenient to have, using a non-factory system like those could come back to bite you later. Seen plenty of the cars with them get towed in because they either won't start or died on the road. After the system was pulled the issue was gone. You might want to talk to a GM dealer, its worth the extra bucks.

I agree with my colleague - remote starters are extremely problematic.

If you must have use an OEM system, installed by the dealer.
